The international footwear company Wahyi Group has transformed the image of its offices at Elche with the help of VICAL, a modern style in which gold and velvet play the central roles.
Wahyi Group, a leading international company concerned in the sale of footwear brands and pioneers in innovation and competitiveness, have opted for an interior design packed with innovative ideas and explosive mixtures for the new style of its offices at Elche.
Introducing a modern and distinctive character to the footwear industry and thus opening up a new world of design and possibilities for innovation were the most important principles on which the brand, alongside VICAL’s interior designer, wanted to work on this project.
The use of avant-garde materials such as velvet, gold and black featured from the outside of the interior design and more common and versatile elements such as marble and vegetation were added. It thus offers a fundamental complement to materials with their own personality, such as gold.
Offering a modern style without taking risks with colours and shapes is a difficult task. Therefore, for the main meeting room, we have decided to use a combination of innovative tones, green and mustard, which together form a perfect union of shades and tonalities, offering the space a unique and characteristic personality.
These contrasts, together with the wood and the gilding in the room, lend both warmth and modernity. A space for talking and feeling part of a whole.

Petrol blue as a catalyst
Colour is the main feature of this design and, when combined with materials such a gold, marble and glass, they lend the room a touch of distinction and elegance without its needing to be overloaded and filled with objects.

Petrol blue has been chosen for the walls in the remaining the rooms and, because of that, a much more voluminous contrast can be observed between strong colours such as mustard and the coral of the VICAL velvet chesterfield sofas.
This type of complementary shades, which help highlight other elements in the same room, are widely used when wishing to offer extra prominence to a range of colours, in this case mustard and coral. A unique office space where you can appreciate the capacity for reinvention and the desire to explore new versions of oneself.
