Starlite Catalana Occidente is reckoned to be the best boutique festival in Europe, and this year it celebrates its eleventh edition in Marbella. This takes the form of 50 days of festival with culture, gastronomy and music combining to offer a unique experience to attendees. And Vical wasn’t going miss this anniversary edition!
We have been bursting with enthusiasm and have designed a space at the festival for all the guest artists to be interviewed while seated on our sofas and armchairs. Artists of the stature of Sergio Dalma, Vanesa Martín, C Tangana o Leiva drop by our set and tell us how they’re doing, showing their gratitude to the organization for backing culture so strongly despite the circumstances.
On being tasked with this challenge, we opted for the Locri sofa, the Johvi armchair and two different models of our Zug floor lamp. These pieces come together to give the space a retro “vintage” style, that is warm yet understated, so that the artists are always centre stage.
The Locri three-seater is a brown leather sofa that incorporates foam and pine wood. The Johvi armchair, in blue colour, is made of mango wood, and also uses a wonderful velvet. The elegance also features in the Zug floor lamps, which are made of iron and gold, and add a lovely art deco feel to the space.
