During the month of February, Madrid will host the fifth edition of the Madrid Design Festival, an international festival that seeks to make Madrid the capital of design and put it in a privileged position in the international context.

VICAL will participate in the forthcoming edition of the Madrid Design Festival in February 2022. In an edition in which CONNECTED DESIGN is the main concept, VICAL will participate along with the promising circular fashion brand OLIBATI to defend responsible consumption in the world of fashion and design and, above all, to get across the idea that design, exclusivity and quality can go hand-in-hand with sustainability.

VICAL collaborates with OLIBATI

In this context of growing interest in sustainability, responsible consumption and exclusivity, OLIBATI has emerged a new fashion brand with an innovative, transgressive project underway that supports responsible consumption of fashion.

OLIBATI is an online circular fashion platform, in which you can enjoy the current season’s international luxury brand garments in three ways: buying new product, hiring and buying second-hand. It is located at calle Marqués del Riscal 8, Madrid, a reservation is required to enjoy the OLIBATI experience, with which they want to imitate the sensation of being in a luxury shop: choosing, trying, experimenting, taking advice and deciding.

Fashion and furniture are two concepts that are more closely connected than ever: they share design, trends and collections. And we therefore want to offer a voice to this union of sectors by collaborating with OLIBATI and presenting our imitated pieces in their exclusive showroom.

Madrid Design Festival 2022 Programme

During the month of February, VICAL will be present at the OLIBATI showroom, presenting its furniture, which blends in the with the OLIBATI pieces.

Within the framework of the Madrid Design Festival, the OLIBATI showroom will remain open to the public and four presentations will be made by influencers, stylists, exclusive interior designers and de VICAL’s programme along with OLIBATI will be as follows:

• Thursday the 3rd at 19.00. VICAL – Jose Manuel Ferrero from EstudiHac. The relationship between the world of fashion and furniture, the importance of design and artisans ways of working on pieces.
• Thursday the 10th at 19.00. VICAL – Fabian Ñíguez. Interior haute couture and responsible forms of interior design. 
• Thursday the 17th at 19.00. OLIBATI – Wedding Style by Saray Ceca. The importance of decoration in fashion.
• Thursday the 24th at 19.00. OLIBATI – Ladies without Dramas, Francesca García-Miró.
