VICAL displays the Küme essence at the MIAD Trade Fair in Madrid: a meeting point between contemporary design and cultural roots.

Madrid becomes the setting for VICAL’s latest innovation in the field of interior design: the Küme space, presented at the prestigious MIAD Trade Fair from 7 to 17 March. This space, the result of an exclusive collaboration with Nothing Studio, represents the fusion between the ‘good living’ philosophy, typical of indigenous cultures, and the richness of Latin American and Spanish traditions, thus celebrating an intercultural dialogue that goes back to centuries of shared history.
Küme emerges as an ode to the connection between continents and cultures, through a selection of materials that tell stories about different worlds. Noble woods, twisting latticework and vibrant textiles mix together in a symbolic representation of the historical journey between these cultures, evoking the image of sails in the wind under a twilight sky.
Each element of Küme pays homage to cultural convergence, from the manila shawl murals that envelop the spaces to the delicate carnation figures that emerge from symbolic natural wells, to handcrafted vases that tell stories of ancient civilisations. The collection invites viewers to a sensory immersion, where each piece becomes a meeting point between different histories and images.
VICAL’s collaboration with Nothing Studio brings to life a series of masterpieces that balance tradition with innovation. The Dallas and Quenza high stools combine the sturdiness of pine with the softness of cowhide, defining new standards of comfort and style. The wooden and wicker stools, as well as the Caen armchair with its braided seat, are testaments to craftsmanship and design. The Bugle bar tables, with their wood and iron structure, and the ethnic Wrae vases, along with the Kansara amphorae and other handcrafted sculptures, capture the essence of the collection: a journey through the wealth of cultural connections that defines VICAL.

We invite design professionals and interior design enthusiasts to discover Küme at the MIAD Trade Fair, where each piece serves as an ambassador of unique stories, weaving ties between different cultures through design. VICAL, committed to sustainability, excellence and an avant-garde vision, reaffirms its position as a leader in the design of spaces, where each creation is a dialogue between beauty and deep narrative.
