New VICAL showroom

Vical opens a 3,000m² showroom available to trade professionals all year round.

In the face of an exceptional situation that has changed the way that new lines are launched by furniture and interior design firms over the course of the year, VICAL has taken the extra step of opening a custom-made space covering almost 3,000m² available all year round for clients looking to discover, feel and experience every one of the exclusive pieces in the regular VICAL catalogue.

Privacy, personal attention and a space to allow pieces their fullest expression, these were the objectives underpinning the furniture and contract interior design company’s decision to develop this new space. It allows VICAL to continue showing all its pieces and new items at a time when the sector as a whole has been forced to adjust its strategy.

Located at the Vical headquarters at Ollería (Valencia), it is an ample, translucent space, that allows products to be displayed at their best, in an environment and atmosphere that provide an all-round experience.

The visit to the showroom begins in an anteroom that serves as a reception area for visitors. The first space that the visitor enters is filled with natural light – the only such space in the showroom – displaying al fresco terraces and exteriors decorated with Vical’s extensive range of outdoor furniture and decor. The visit continues through a grand central aisle that also serves to separate the two worlds of Vical: the HOME range and the CONCEPT range.

The Home collection is to the right, and is characterized by craftwork in the most natural materials and most traditional styles. On the left of the aisle is the Concept collection, offering a more cutting-edge, exclusive and sophisticated style. There are five spaces for each collection, making eleven in total with the first outdoor design area. These immerse the visitor in a world of sensations, textures, contrasts and subtle shades of colour to inspire the creation of the ideal atmosphere for a contract interior and design project.

Over 2,000 Vical items share the space harmoniously and coherently throughout the almost 3,000m², lit entirely by artificial light to take advantage of this brightness and warmth to highlight the details of each and every piece. Sensors in the showroom’s high ceiling trigger the lighting of the individual environments as you move along each space, so allowing the brand’s extensive collection of light fittings to be an integral part of the visit.

The strengths of this new showroom are not only the scale of the space and the highlighting of each individual piece, but also in allowing us to give each visitor our fullest attention. The scale guarantees security and privacy in a relaxed atmosphere while avoiding proximity to others.

In the central part of the showroom are two areas displaying the Exkisito line, the range of furniture and furnishings for the hospitality sector launched recently by Vical, where the visit can be rounded off with an appetizer. In tune with the display of the collections, each Exkisito space represents a core concept of the firm: one highlighting the beauty of the traditional craft skills and the noble materials that inspire the Home concept; and the other displaying exclusive and sophisticated pieces from the Concept range.

Although this new Vical showroom will be revamped twice a year to reflect the different seasons (in January and September), new items will be included promptly, naturally and flexibly throughout the year so as to constantly display the latest trends.

This is a new concept of showroom, more than a traditional display hall, it is rather a living extension of the brand as it continues to transform and renew itself at every stage of its journey, a space to enjoy the full Vical experience.
