Luxury and excellence for the interiorism of Restaurante Miró

VICAL has taken again a risk with the transformation of the inside of Restaurante Miró in Alicante, thus providing it with a unique and distinctive style. The use of black colour as a merging element takes over the room and gives it an air of luxury and excellence which transforms the space in something completely exclusive.

One of the main conditions when beginning with the interior project of restaurant Miró was that the diners had to feel like if they were in a night atmosphere when being inside the restaurant. We wanted the customer to have an entertainment and night freedom sensation, and that is the reason why we chose a space completely dark.

This option has a lot of possibilities, and the interior designer Antonio García (of Dekorasihome) has chosen the most special ones in order to achieve a common goal: the luxury and excellence. Gold, as well as velvet are a stamp attached to VICAL, and once again we can see that in the decoration of Restaurante Miró.

In a dark atmosphere of walls and ceilings in black the gold elements together with velvet fabrics used, such as the mustard colour for the stools and black and red colours for the armchairs and chairs, highlight the space, catching the unconscious attention of the diners.

Since it is a space where the black colour prevails, some attention points have been added. For this reason the walls have taken a leading role with indirect light points, thus providing the space with depth and bringing out the colour contrasts.

Marble, as well as velvet and gold, is another of the distinguishing marks of VICAL brand, and this time the use of these elements has been essential in order to break with the darkness of the main element of the space, the bar. In this part the marble in pale colours shines facing the darkness of the premises, helped by an indirect lighting that enhances those characteristics.

The singularity of Restaurant Miró has been the distinction when using for instance floral elements on the walls, which are a nod to nature and the environment without using the traditional green plants so commonly used.

Darkness, contrast, marble, velvet and warmth to represent a very marked style where the most important thing is being able to make the customer travel to an endless night.
