The design studio Estudi{H}ac celebrated its 20th anniversary at HABITAT fair with a retrospective of the latest designs designed during this time.
T{H}E DESIGN ATELIER represented a large design workshop, offering visitors an in-depth insight into the concept and evolution of the creative process behind each project.
One of the highlights of the collaboration between VICALDESIGN and Estudi{H}ac was the introduction of PLISSÉ collection. Both sophisticated and captivating, this collection was inspired by the multifaceted life of Mario Fortuny and the exquisite craftsmanship of Parisian firm Lognan.
PLISSÉ is a tribute to craftsmanship and innovation, focusing its aesthetic appeal on the meticulously pleated shapes and their adaptation to the three-dimensional silhouettes that characterize this series for VICAL. The textures, points of light and volume that these characteristics bring to the design are fundamental in the result, converging in a fundamental way for the visual impact and tactile sensation of each piece of furniture and decoration.

Celebrating the two decades of trajectory, it was a monographic exhibition composed of a very striking stand in the green color so representative of the studio, with the main objective of transmitting the essence of its work and all the phases of the creative processes. The idea is not to present a series of fully finished products, but to discover the concept of each of them, their creative, prototyping and assembly processes.
VICAL is proud to be part of Estudi{H}ac’s journey and looks forward to many more decades of design innovation. The EstudiHac retrospective is not only a celebration of their accomplishments, but a promise of the beauty and innovation to come.
